PURPOSE:To prevent a motor pump from cavitation by locating a jet pump section of the motor pump with a booster having the jet pump section on the outside of a pumped-up water suction path. CONSTITUTION:A valve body 54 is provided which opens and closes a path 62 located on the way of a pumped-up water intake path 60 communicating to an intake port 20. There are provided a jet pump section consisting of a jetting path 52A for jetting a portion of discharge water, an inflow path 52B into which pumped water flows and a mixing path 52C. This jet pump section is located at the outside of the intake path 60 to ensure a sufficiently large intake flow path area for reducing resistance loss in the intake path during a large water amount and preventing cavitation with few resistance loss.
