EXHAUST CONTROLLER FOR ENGINE

摘要

PURPOSE:To simplify the operating mechanism of valve by arranging the exhaust pipe for every cylinder in parallel with the valve shaft for every exhaust pipe being planted vertically therefrom and driving the levers provided at respective shaft ends integrally by means of a single rod. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust pipes provided for respective cylinders are arranged in parallel and the shafts 38a-38d of throttle valves 44a-44d provided for respective exhaust pipes are planted vertically against the exhaust pipes. Arms 40a-40d are provided at the end sections of respective shafts 38a-38d and coupled through a single rod 42. When a controller rotates the shaft 38a through a belt 48 and a pulley 46 corresponding to the operating condition of engine, all valves are opened/closed simultaneously.
