PURPOSE:To obtain the uniform distribution and effective stirring action of a mixture by opening branch pipes at a defined interval and rotatingly in the direction in the order of the operation of the connected cylinders, around the center axis of the space of inlets of intake manifold branch pipes. CONSTITUTION:In a joint face 13b part between an intake manifold 12 and an injection valve body 13, the opening faces 12e, 12f of branch pipes 121-126 are formed in positions back to the lower course side from the joint face 13b, thereby, forming spaces 12c, 12d in between the joint face 13b and the opening faces 12e, 12f. And, the branch pipes 121-126 are opened around the center axes A, B of the spaces 12c, 12d which function as a part of an intake passage for the branch pipes 121-126, at a defined interval and rotatingly in the direction in the order of the operation of the connected cylinders. Thereby, air intake for the cylinders is carried out in order in the same rotating direction, which generates circulating flows in the spaces 12c, 12d formed on the inlets of branch pipes, thereby, accelerating the stirring of a mixture while uniformly distributing the mixture into the cylinders.
