PURPOSE:To efficiently further safely perform storage of an article, by mounting a stopper, which stops the article in a front in the side of an out-storage port, to be placed on a lift part. CONSTITUTION:The top article moves by its gravity from an in-storage port side to an out-storage port side along a pair of rail frames 1, 1 in an in-storage front, and a stopper 6, placed in an acting condition, stops the article to the stopper 6 is absorbed by both torsion of a turning shaft 63, because it mounts the stopper 6, and a cushion material 68 glued to be attached to a surface of the stopper 6. In a case of out-storage of the article D from a circulating rack A, a stacker crane is driven running in the lateral direction further it s lift part 31 is vertically moved, and in a condition that the stopper 6 is opened after an out-storage device 32 of the lift part 31 is positioned in the out-storage port side of an optional front in the circulating rack A, an optional number of the articles D are taken out from said front successively on a roller conveyer by the out-storage device 32.
