PURPOSE:To open a shutter member to take out an image recording carrier at the time of reading an image by providing a shutter member for opening and closing an output port for image recording carriers. CONSTITUTION:A shutter member 12 is slid by turning movement in the direction of an arrow D of an operating member 36 to open a sheet take-out port 13 of a cover member 4 to the interior of an image reading device through a take-out port of a storing portion. The shutter member 12 is moved, and if the sheet take-out port 13 is opened, a cover member of an adaptor magazine can not be opened. When the operating member 36 is turned in the direction of an arrow F while being pressed in the direction of an arrow C, a lever member 40 is biased in the direction of an arrow G, so that the shutter member 12 blocks up the sheet take-out port 13, and a cam member is turned to enclose a pin member in the storing portion. Accordingly, the adaptor magazine can be pulled out from the image reading device.
