PURPOSE:To interactively constitute any display screens in a numerical control ler by permitting a display information generation part and a screen selection part to selectively select plural screens based on key input information. CONSTITUTION:An input information processing part 15 analyzes code data inputted from a key operation part 2 and classified it into a display instruction, a display information generation instruction, display information and a screen selection instruction. If it is the display instruction, it is given to a display data generation part 6. If said information is the display information generation instruction, the display instruction is given to the data generation part 6, and the display information generation instruction to an information generation part 8. When the analyzed thing is display information, the display instruction is given to the data generation part 6, and the display information to the information generation part 8. In reference to the selection information of a picture selection part 9, information is stored in a memory 171 or 172. If the information processing part 15 gives the screen selection instruction to the picture selection part 9, either the memory 171 or the memory 172 is selected as screen display information.
