Process and injection mould for producing can shells with integrally moulded, closed pouring spout. The process and the injection mould are based essentially on the presence of an at least two-part neck core part (6) for forming the can neck (5) with the pouring spout (2). In the injection phase, an arcuate part (7) is inserted in a position corresponding to the interior curvature of the can neck, opposite the pouring spout. The second part, the spout part (14), is joined to an inwardly pivotable perforated core part, which is first pivoted in the region of the pouring spout to be formed and, together with the arcuate part, forms a complete curvature in the collar region during the injection moulding process. After the curing of the injection moulded thermoplastic, first the arcuate part (7) is drawn out of the collar formed, a hollow space (25) being formed within the collar. Subsequently the spout part (14) is pivoted together with the perforated core part (15) into the hollow space and withdrawn from the collar during further demoulding. <IMAGE>
