<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the rotary force and to increase the catching area of filter by arranging a heater rotatable intermittently in the upstream of a filter for catching micro particles and providing a mechanism for moving axially while simultaneously rotating intermittently the heater shaft. CONSTITUTION:A heater 8 rotatable around a shaft 11 is arranged in the upstream of a filter 5 for catching the exhaust micro particles and driven by means of the fluid pressure actuators 17, 18. A spring 36 for energizing the shaft 11 in the direction for separating the heater 8 from the filter 5 is provided in a spring case 10. Furthermore, a cylindrical cam 30 is provided on the shaft 11 and a cam follower 33 is secured to the spring case 10. Consequently, the axial movement of the shaft 11 causes an intermittent rotation of the shaft 11. Since the heater 8 is normally separated from the filter 5, it requires small driving force when rotating and the catching area of filter can be ensured.</p> |
