PURPOSE:To continuously obtain a homogeneous Japanese-style confection, by using an apparatus having a contruction for extruding a raw material for a Japanese-style confection into a belt form, laminating another raw material for the Japanese-style confection, pressing the resultant laminate with a forming roll to form an uneven pattern on the outer surface and cutting the patterned laminate. CONSTITUTION:The first raw material for a Japanese-style confection is extruded into a belt form on a conveyer passage 3 by the first feeding means 5 and conveyed. The second raw material for the Japanese-style confection is then extruded into a belt form by the second feeding means 6 provided on the downstream side of the first feeding means 5 and then laminated on the first raw material for the Japanese- style confection. The laminated raw material for the Japanese-style confection is further pressed by a forming roll 7 provided on the downstream side of the second feeding means 6 to join the first and second raw materials for the Japanese-style confection and form an uneven pattern on the outer surface thereof at the same time. The raw material for the Japanese-style confection from the forming roll 7 is cut to a given size by cutters 8 and 9. Thereby the aimed worked Japanese-style confection is obtained.
