Device for warming infusion and transfusion solutions

A device serves for warming infusion and transfusion solutions by means of a heating unit which is effective on a line for the infusion or transfusion solution and heats a heat exchange body having on its outside a groove (5) for insertion of the tube (6) through which the infusion or transfusion solution flows. The groove (5) is perforated on at least one boundary wall at a distance from its beginning and its end. The size of the perforation corresponds at least to the internal diameter of the groove (5). The perforation in the groove (5) permits the tube (6) which is guided in the groove (5) to be guided out of the groove (5) after a specific groove length, so that tubes of different lengths can be used, as are required for heating at different flow rates in normal cases and in emergencies (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
