Sensor for measuring electromagnetic pulses, having a member which is sensitive to electromagnetic fields and onto which there are flanged coupling antennas, and having a light source the light of which is focused onto the member. The member is a piezoelectric crystal whose one side face is constructed as a reflecting surface. The reflecting surface is irradiated at an acute angle o by a light beam from the light source. The light beam reflected at the reflecting surface is collected on a calibrated measuring plane and evaluated with respect to its lateral deflection.
