PURPOSE:To aim at reducing the shimmy level of a vehicle, by using a rubber bushing part as a coupling part for the vehicle side member of a suspension arm coupled at one end to a wheel support member, which is near to the wheel support center, and by using fluid bushing part as a coupling part for the vehicle side member thereof, which is remote from the wheel support center. CONSTITUTION:An A-type suspension arm 10 provided to each side of a vehicle body, is connected at one end to a knuckle 14, and is coupled at the other two ends, rotatably to a cross-member 28 through the intermediary of a coupling part 24 near to the wheel support center and a coupling part 26 remote from the latter, respectively. In this arrangement the coupling part 24 near to the wheel support center is composed of a rubber bushing part in which an annular rubber member is disposed between outer and inner cylinders 30, 32. Meanwhile the coupling member 26 remote from the wheel support center is composed of a liquid charged bushing part composed of an annular rubber 44, liquid chambers 62, 64 arranged in parallel in the direction of the vehicle and communication passages 66, 68 communicating between both chambers 62, 64. With this arrangement, it is possible to aim at reducing vibration (shimmy level) transmitted to a steering system. |
