Actuating device for single-handle mixer valves

The invention relates to an actuating device for single-handle mixer valves with a valve element having two degrees of freedom for the separate determination of the mixing ratio and of the overall flow rate. In this valve, an actuating lever which is connected to the valve element, projects from a valve cartridge housing, can be rotated coaxially with respect to the centre line and can be swivelled relative to an axis transverse to the centre line, and a stop ring which can be positioned in various rotational positions relative to the cartridge housing to limit the rotation of the actuating lever as desired are provided for the purpose of actuation. In order to achieve a compact and space-saving design of an adjustable limitation for the temperature of the mixed water, the proposal is to arrange a cap-shaped rotary ring with the ability for limited rotation on the stop ring, an opening in the form of a diagonal slot being formed in the projecting front face of the rotary ring and the actuating lever being coupled rotationally to the rotary ring in a manner which allows it to be swivelled in the opening.
