In a milling-roller mounting for milling machines for milling off roadway pavings, a motor-driven milling roller is mounted to be rotatable at its ends in a frame arranged transversely to the direction of travel and fixed to the running gear (chassis) with two vertically adjustable mountings. The frame is guided on the running gear by means of two sliding-pushing guides arranged at a distance from one another and vertically aligned, the guides being designed as T-shaped guide rails, in which the frame is guided via a fixed bearing and a movable bearing.
