PURPOSE:To effectively enable to degas a gas contd. in the liquid crystal, omitting a troublesome hand working by supplying the liquid crystal to the reduced tank, after reducing the pressure of a reducing tank provided a degasing tube composed of a fine porous film made of a resin in the reduced tank. CONSTITUTION:The degasing tube 3 composed of the fine porous film made of polyolefin resin is provided in the reducing tank 1. The tube 3 is reduced the pressure by a vacuum pump 2, followed by supplying the liquid crystal to the tube 3 from a storage tank 5 by means of a supply pump 7. Accordingly, the gas dissolved in the liquid crystal is degased through a surrounding surface of the tube 3. And then, the pressure reduced tank 8 and the cell 10 are reduced by the vacuum pump 12, followed by opening a shut-off cock 14 and supplying the liquid crystal to the cell 10 through the liquid crystal receiver 11a, utilizing a pressure difference. Thus, the liquid crystal is degased and supplied to the cell efficiently, omitting the troublesome hand working. |
