PURPOSE:To obtain an overload protecting circuit which has high reliability by applying a signal amplitude-modulated by a detecting current and operating a warning unit with the output voltage. CONSTITUTION:The output of a current detector 11 is supplied to a nonlinear circuit 12, and a comparator 14 outputs a pulse amplitude-modulated of high level during a period that the output of the circuit 12 is higher than the output of a triangular wave generator 13. On the other hand, a resetter 16 a time constant circuit 15 when the output of the detector 11 is a value or lower corresponding to the rated current at the output of the detector 11, and a time constant is provided at the reset as required. The circuit 15 operates a warning circuit 17 when the input voltage exceeds the set value. Thus, an overload protecting circuit which has high reliability can be obtained. |
