PURPOSE:To observe an optional image at an insignificant position at operator's choice simultaneously with a main observation image by constituting a subordinate optical system which shares a main optical system ocular mirror by a flexible image transmission system and a wide-angle photographic end. CONSTITUTION:A prism 2 is placed in an ocular lens barrel 1, part 5 of the focal plane 4 of an ocular 3 is formed in a flank connecting cylinder 6, and the internal end surface of an image guide 7 is fixed while aligned with it. Then, the wide-angle image pickup end 9 is added to the external end 8 of the image guide to constitute the subordinate optical system which picks up and transmits a horizontal scale image 13 together with a main image 11. Consequently, the optional image at the insignificant position is observed at operator's choice together with the main image 11.
