PURPOSE:A herbicidal composition, containing a specific pyrazolesulfonylurea derivative and another compound as active ingredients and capable of exhibiting better weeding effect on a wide range of weeds with a smaller amount than the independent use of each chemical without fear of phytotoxicity. CONSTITUTION:A herbicidal composition containing a pyrazolesulfonylurea derivative, expressed by formula I (A and R are lower alkyl; B is H, lower alkyl, halogen or lower alkoxy; X and Y are lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; Z is CH or N), capable of exhibiting improved herbicidal effect with a small amount of chemical and having high selective safety for rice plants and N-[2'-(3'-methoxy)-thienylmethyl]-2,6-dimethyl-alpha-chloroacetonitrile, effective against annual weeds and expressed by formula II as active ingredients. The ratio of the above-mentioned active ingredients is 1:0.005-10 by pts. of the compound expressed by formula II to the compound expressed by formula I and the application amount is suitably 0.01-10kg/ha. |
