PURPOSE:To obtain an image developed with a specific color in a division area in an original surface by controlling entire-surface exposure and development on a photosensitive body with a color separating function according to area specification, etc. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body which is constituted by forming an insulating layer of respective color filters on a photoconductor and has the color separating function is exposed to an original image to form a charge density image at the boundary between the photoconductor and filters, etc., and a latent image is formed on filters by entire-surface exposure wherein light is transmitted through the specific color filters and developed with desired color toner. When an image is formed by forming an image repeatedly ad mentioned above, an area is specified on an input tablet 25 and a color is also specified through ba console panel 30, and then entire-surface exposing devices 7B, 7G, 7R, 7K, and 7W and color developing devices 8Y, 8M, 8C, and 8K, etc., are selected for respective areas through a CPU and images developed with specified colors are formed in respective decomposition area in the original surface.
