METHOD FOR DISCHARGING PARTICULATE MATERIAL IN GASTIGHT DISCHARGE APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To prevent the blow through in a gastight discharge apparatus exposed to high temp. and placed under high difference pressure, by detecting the height of the particulate material storage bed of the gastight discharge apparatus and discharging the particulate material under the storage bed corresponding to the height of said storage bed. CONSTITUTION:The height of the particulate material storage bed 9 of a gastight discharge apparatus 1 is detected and the particulate material 3 under the storage bed is discharged corresponding to the detected bed height. The particulate material is blown up to the space above the bed while carried by air blowing through a fluidized bed 4 and subsequently separated and collected from exhaust gas to be fallen in a material chute 7 where accumulated to be stagnated at the lower end part thereof in a state forming inclination equal to or less than an angle of repose. The height of the seal bed of the particulate material storage bed 9 in a vertical pipe 7A is detected by a device such as a pressure detector and it is judged whether the detected height is within a range from a lower limit height L to an upper limit height H. If equal to or more than the upper limit height H, a part of the particulate material 3 is discharged.
