[Also in Division B8] A sheet metal receptacle of generally frustoconical shape is formed from two sheets 14 and 16, which are welded at 12 and which have straight upper and lower edges when in the flattened state, and a flat bottom 20 joined to the sheets, the resulting variation in the length of flanges 42 of the joint when the bottom is joined to the sheets being accommodated in the joint itself. The receptacles are' designed for nesting one within another, a lateral groove 26 limiting the extent of nesting. |
