PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composite in high adhesiveness by cure bonding between surface-treated fiber and a rubber composition comprising halogen- contg. rubber and ethylene-propylene-nonconjugated diene three-component copolymer and/or ethylene-propylene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composite can be obtained by cure bonding between (A) a rubber composition comprising an ethylene-propylene-nonconjugated diene three-component copolymer and/or ethylene-propylene copolymer, and further containing (i) 0.25-1.8wt% on a basis of halogen amount, of at least one kind of halogen-contg. rubber (e.g. chlorinated polyethylene, brominated butyl rubber) and (ii) organic peroxide (pref. dicumyl peroxide) and (B) fiber subjected to resorcin-formalin, resorcin-formalin-chloroprene latex or resorcin- formalin-chlorosulfonated polyethylene latex dipping treatment. |
