PURPOSE:To provide resin temperature detecting method in a mold for an injection molder, which can be a very useful technique for the design of a mold for manufacturing the injection molded form of high performance by a method wherein a temperature sensor is embedded at the tip end of an inserting part, inserted into the mold so as to be brought into direct contact with molten material, while the signal detecting wire thereof is led outside of the mold through a small hole bored on the inserting part. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 8 protected by a ceramic and consisting of platinum is embedded in the tip end of an ejector pin 26, and the signal detecting wire 29 thereof is led out of the end of the pin through a small hole 26a. The tip end of the ejector pin 26 contacts with molten material, therefore, the temperature of the molten material can be detected directly. Further, the ejector pins 26 are arranged at several places in respective cavities and runners, therefore, multi-point measurement is permitted and it is very useful for collecting data for designing a mold reasonably. On the other hand, any inserting hole for the temperature sensors is not necessitated to bore it, therefore, a design for arranging cooling fluid flow passageways may be facilitated.
