PURPOSE:To facilitate the addition and change of a telop by transmitting the telop to a terminal equipment from a videotex center and displaying the telop on a screen displayed in advance on a display device overlappingly. CONSTITUTION:A control code written on the head of code information is read from screen information sent from a videotex center 20 and whether or not the information is tele-software information to call local pattern information of a video disk 17 is discriminated. When the information is tele-software information, a frame designated by the tele-software information is read from the videotex. Then whether or not a telop to be synthesized with the video image exists is judged from the tele-software information, and when the telop to be synthesized exists, a prescribed code is transmitted to the center 20, from which display information is received. The display information and the video image of the disk 17 are synthesized and displayed on a CRT 1.
