DECENTRALIZED CONTROL TYPE PRIVATE BRANCH COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To make extension and alternation easy, to improve reliability and to attain mass-production through the adoption of identical terminal control circuits by providing control functions corresponding to terminal equipments arranged decentrally to control terminal equipments and channels. CONSTITUTION:Plural terminal control units ST(ST-1-ST-m) accommodating respectively terminal equipments T(T-1-T-m) with respect to channels CH (CH-1-CH-l) and a control line CL are connected in parallel and the line CL and a channel control unit SA are connected. The unit ST uses the line CL to request a talking channel assignment prior to communication with other unit ST. A unit SA receiving the assignment request refers to a memory to confirm an idle channel and informs an assigned channel. Call processing is applied by the channel acquisition and connection request and each unit ST controls a channel switch SW-i, uses the assigned channel to communicate with on opposite terminal equipment T.
