PURPOSE:To establish an efficient method for production, by making the flow-in of an uncured fluid rubber smooth by discharging an air which resides between the uncured rubber sheet and a V-form groove of a matrix mold. CONSTITUTION:At the bottom part of a groove V on a matrix mold 2, air vent holes 3 are provided. The matrix mold 2 is jacketed on a cylindrical drum 1, and an uncured rubber sheet 4 having definite thickness is wound up over them in endless form. Then a tensile material rope 5 is wound up over the uncured rubber sheet 4, furthermore one to several layers of rubberized canvas 6 are wound up over the rope 5. Pressurization and heating are applied from the upper surface of the rubberized canvas 6. Simultaneously the fluidized uncured rubber of upper and lower uncured rubber sheets 4, 4' fill up the surroundings of th tensile material rope 5 to form a mulitpribbed belt. Here because an air which is present between the uncured rubber sheet 4 and the V-form groove G relieve outward from the air vent holes 3 of the matrix mold 2, the flow-in of the uncured rubber becomes smooth and a precise form of rib is obtained. |
