PURPOSE:A resin composition having improved mechanical characteristics and low water absorption properties, obtained by blending a polyamide resin with specific amounts of a polyolefin resin and a polyoctenylene. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. polyamide resin (e.g. nylon 6, etc.) having 8-17 amide groups based on 100 carbon atoms is blended with (B) 1-200pts.wt. polyolefin resin (e.g. polypropylene, etc.) and (C) 1-100pts.wt. polyoctenylene resin which has one double bond based on 8 carbon atoms, >=10,000mol.wt., preferably >=50% trans form content and >=10% crystallinity. |
