PURPOSE:To form an easy-to-see visual field when it becomes foggy by fitting an infrared video device which utilizes infrared rays to an automobile. CONSTITUTION:The infrared imaging device consists of a photoelectric translucent cathode 3 which has sensitivity to infrared rays, an optical screen 2, and an electron lens system 4. Then when it becomes foggy, an infrared ray; 6 is emitted to a body 12 from a radiator 10 fitted on the automobile body 7 and the electromagnetic wave of its reflected infrared ray is photodetected by the photoelectric cathode 3. An electron beam 5 proportional to its intensity is further focused on the light screen 2 through the electron lens system 4 to reproduce a visual field image. Consequently, an easy-to-see visual field is formed by the infrared imaging device even when the visual field is bad owing to fog. |
