PURPOSE:To take out a discharge original out of the front by conveying a sheet original inserted from the insertion port of a screen unit, then modifying the conveyance direction and discharging said original out of a discharge port on the front side of the unit. CONSTITUTION:For copying the sheet original G, it is inserted from the insertion port 18, and conveyed along a conveyance guide 42 due to the rotations of conveyance rollers 43.... Simultaneously a lamp 10 in the screen unit 3 and the 1st mirror 11 are moved as broken line show, and light is irradiated on the original G from the lamp 10 through a glass window 22. The reflected light from the original G is led to the photosensitive drum of a copying machine 1 through the 1st mirror 11 to form an image. At that time the conveyance direction of the original G is modified on the back side of the screen unit 3 with the aid of the conveyance guide 42, and the original G is conveyed toward the front side of the screen unit 3 and discharged out of the discharge port on the front side.
