The present invention provides a polymeric composition which comprises one or more polymers crosslinked by the use of sufficient hydrolyzable olefinically unsaturated silane to render said composition dimensionally and electrically heat stable, said composition containing a sufficient proportion of a conductive black to impart to it electrically conductive properties. It also provides a process for producing an electrically conductive polymeric material by use of an extruder or other machine having a forwarding screw and a barrel in which the screw is positioned and rotated to advance the mixture through the barrel.
