Each of the system duct pipes includes a removable accumulator tube (17A,18A) contg. accumulator bodies (21), with a total length exceeding 1m. in each duct. Each body fills the duct and comprises a large number of axial ducts of 2-10mm. area, placed in the pleats of a metal e.g. aluminium foil of thickness of about 0.1 mm. In section, the accumulator presents pleated and flat foils in alternating layers on top of each other, forming grooves between. The accumulator body ends have equal spacings, providing a leakage gap for equalising pressure, temp. and humidity of the air passing through. The air is blown through by fans, with control valves cycling in the range of 20-620 seconds. |
