PURPOSE:To reduce the scattering of current density distribution and temperature distribution, to increase reaction efficiency, and to prevent the leakage of fuel gas by making to flow oppositely each gas on one side of a fuel cell main body, and making to flow in the same direction on the other side. CONSTITUTION:When a fuel gas P is supplied to a through hole 22a of a separators 5 through an intake pipe 38a and a fuel gas intake passage 37a, it flows upward in an intake side passage C1 which is formed by the through hole 22 and an inside manifold pipe 26a, and extends in a stacked direction. In the flow course, the fuel gas P is separately introduced in an anode side current collecting plate 9a, and flows on the current collecting plate 9a toward surface A and surface A'. When the fuel gas P reaches exhaust side inside manifold pipes 26b, 26c, it is caught in the inside of manifolds 26b, 26c. Then, the fuel gas P flows downward in exhaust side passages C2, C3 which are formed by through holes 22b, 22c and manifold pipes 26b, 26c, and extend in a stack direction, and is exhausted outside through fuel gas exhaust passages 37b, 37c, and exhaust pipes 38b, 38c. |
