PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from having a slack at the front part of a case by winding a tape in the cassette case in opposition to a front case so as to be placed in a notch and providing a tape pressing wall opposing to the rear face of the tape and freely slidably in the forward/backward direction. CONSTITUTION:A tape 6 is wound in the cassette case 1 so as to oppose to a front cover 8 and so as to be placed to a notch 3a and a tape pressing wall 9f freely slidably in the forward/backward direction in opposition to the rear side of the tape 6 is provided. Even if the tape placed in the notch 3a has a slack at unloading, the slack of the tape 6 in the notch 3a is pushed into the cassette case 1 from the notch 3a by the front face cover 8 and the tape pressing wall 9f and the tape 6 placed in the notch 3a is made to the state nearly without a slack at storage. Thus, in using the cassette again, a prescribed relation of position is given between the tape 6 placed at the front part of the notch 3a and the tape leadout guide system and the tape 6 is loaded without giving a damage to the guide system.
