PURPOSE:To achieve most suitable blast control which will create a pleasant indoor environment by detecting representative temperatures inside a room and near the floor face and controlling an upper section blower and a lower section blower so that the ratio of the blast capacity of the latter to that of the former becomes larger when the difference of both temperatures becomes large. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 2 reads through an input circuit 23 a representative room temperature, T1 which is detected by a room temperature sensor 28, and T1 is compared with a first set temperature Ta which is beforehand set. If T1>=Ta, a CPU 24 reads through an input circuit 22 the temperature T2 near the floor which is detected by a temperature sensor 29, and the ratio of the output of an upper section fan motor 18 to that of a lower section fan motor 19 is controlled so that the difference between the representative room temperature T1 and the temperature near the floor, T2 becomes lower than a second set temperature tb. Because the ratio between blast capabilities of both blowers is controlled, it is possible to grasp exactly the temperature environment under various conditions in the room and there is a benefit that a pleasant room environment can be thereby obtained.
