The method is for joining concrete or other material with at least some permeability to water vapour. In the method the joint area is firstly cleaned mechanically or by compressed air from free water and dirt. The area is then subjected to several treatments with compressed air with regulation of air speed, vapour pressure and temp. so that optimal moisture evacuation occurs with the joint surface temp. remaining low. The steps are then repeated until the moisture no longer emerges. The joint surfaces are then heated to drive any residual moisture inwards, and the seam is constructed before the temp. drops to a level where moisture might re-emerge. |
