PURPOSE:To enable the titled method to control a compression allowance easily, by a method wherein a micrometer at the top of a piston rod of an air cylinder on a bed side is set up at the predetermined compression allowance an a slide plate is raised by lowering hydraulic piston rod. CONSTITUTION:First a piston rod 23 of a hydraulic cylinder 22 has been kept put out to the lower part down to a stroke end, and after a scale of a micrometer head 28 has been regulated to zero by sticking an upper and lower molds 16, 19 together, a piston rod 25 is raised until the same abuts against the piston rod 23 and the same is fixed. The scale is adjusted to a predetermined compression allowance L from the zero by turning the head 28. When the piston rod 23 is put out up to a stroke end by sticking the upper and lower molds 16, 19 together by a rise and fall cylinder 21, a slide plate 18 is lifted up by the compression allowance L and the upper and lower molds 16, 19 are broken. When filling through injection is completed, the titled machine is shifted to a mold clamping action through a mold clamping cylinder 20.
