PURPOSE:To reduce the number of instruments and devices necessary for correcting sensitivity and absorption and to reduce a required time or labor, by collecting the isotope distribution data of the object in a ring radiation source and performing predetermined operation. CONSTITUTION:A ring radiation source is arranged in the ring-shaped arrangement of detectors and an object to which no isotope is administered is arranged in said ring radiation source to collect isotope distribution data in each direction to obtain data T. The isotope distribution data E measured of the object is divided by the data T to perform the operation of E/T. By this method, the correction of sensitivity and that of absorption are performed simultaneously.
