PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of a warp and twist of a rod and to improve the strength in a longitudinal and the other directions, by a method wherein the thing obtained by compounding unidirectional fibers and knitted fibers, effective in preventing of the warp is used as reinforcing fibers. CONSTITUTION:A composite fiber bundle 3 composed of a unidirectional fiber bundle 1 which is obtained by unifying a reinforcing fiber bundle 7 in cross-sectional constitution, that is, fiber orientation in a longitudinal direction of a rod and a knitted fiber layer 2 provided on the external circumference of the fiber bundle 1 is made into a core material and reinforcing fiber bundle 7 obtained by laminating one or a plurality of layers of composite fiber layers 6 composed of a unidirectional fiber layer 3 in the longitudinal direction and a knitted fiber layer 5, which is arranged on the external circumference of the unidirectional fiber layer 4, is prepared on the external circumference of the core material, to begin with. The titled method is not constituted that after the fiber bundle 7 has been impregnated with resin the impregnated resin is cured by applying molding pressure to the same from its circumference by a molding pressure giving device. As the molding pressure giving device, either of an extracting die and a pressing mold may be applied. |
