PURPOSE:To eliminate confusion due to the disagreement of a prepared diagnosis program with the configuration of actually connected peripheral equipments by providing an interface board with a nonvolatile memory storing a diagnosis program related to its own device. CONSTITUTION:Respective peripheral equipments have the interface boards 300a-300f connected to a common bus 1. The interface boards 300a-300f have the nonvolatile memories 301a-301f storing the diagnosis programs regarding their prepheral devices. Addresses which a dip switch and a jumper wire can set in terms of hardware as xxx in figure show and low-order addresses 01000-0FFFF, for instance, are allocated to said memories. All the diagnosis programs are made into codes in an executable format in the nonvolatile memories 301a-301f. |
