PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of spacial resolving power by reducing a parallactic error caused by the finite thickness of a radiation detector, by using two detectors to determining detection time difference and determining the depth of the mater in each detector. CONSTITUTION:The electron group generated by the Compton scattering at the point 11 in a detector 1 drifts toward and electrode at a constant speed Ve by an electric field applied and the detector 1 outputs a pulse at the arrival point of time of said electron group. Scattering beam is incident to a detector 2 to generate and pulse due to photoelectric effect. The output pulse of each detector is applied to a time difference detection circuit such as TAC3 to detect the time difference between timings. This time difference is sent to an operation circuit 4 as the electron moving time from the point 11 to the electrode and a depth is determined as the position in a z-direction at the point 11. As a result, the parallactic error in the detector 1 is eliminated and the axis of a cone can be accurately determined.
