PURPOSE:To prevent the destruction of a pointer obtained in the decoding processing or the rewrite of a data subjected to correction processing by providing a control means inhibiting the write in detecting the preceding of the decoding processing over the write. CONSTITUTION:A block address AW read from a reproducing data and a block address AR where error correction code CI decoding is applied are always compared. The memory is subjected to write/read sequentially at every block in the column direction of a matrix being the unit of the processing of error correction code. In comparing the two block address AW, AR, when AW<AR, since the state is an abnormal operation that the block address AW written with a reproducing data takes precedence over the block address AR subjected to decoding, the write of the reproducing data is inhibited to the block address being the relation of AW<AR. Thus, the destruction of a digital audio signal corrected by the CI decoding and a CI pointer is prevented.
