PURPOSE:To rapidly cool and solidify a cast molten metal, by evacuating the container of a casting mold and the suction tube communicating with and connecting to said container when the leading end of the suction tube is sealed to evacuate a box. CONSTITUTION:A cooling material 3 is provided to the bottom part of the container of a casting mold and an air port 4 is formed to the upper side part of the container. Then, the container is used in sampling in such a state that the leading end 6 of a suction tube 5 is sealed and a box 1 is held vacuum. That is, as the seal material of the leading end 6, a low m.p. glass material rapidly melting upon the contact with high temp. matter such as a molten metal is used. When the leading end of the suction tube 5 is immersed in the molten metal, the seal material rapidly melts and the sucked molten metal is stably cast in the container of the casting mold. The molten metal is also allowed to densely fill the inverted U-shaped tube part and solidified in this state.
