PURPOSE:To facilitate operator's operation at the time of multiplex interruption processing by providing plural mode keys, a mode information saving means, an operation information holding means, a mode storage means, a mode display means, and a control means for controlling the mode display means according to a mode key which is turned on. CONSTITUTION:Memories which stores the setting state of respective modes are provided corresponding to the modes and when modes are changed, the operation state (setting state) of a device is saved in the memory of the selected mode before said mode switching. When a new mode is selected, the state of the device is set automatically according to the contents of the memory of the mode. Display devices DA1-DA4 are provided corresponding to the modes and consist of light emitting elements, and the element corresponding to the selected mode illuminated. Display devices DB1-DB4 are light emitting elements corresponding to the modes and the element corresponding to the mode which is saved (stored) in the memory last illuminates.
