PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which gives a coating film having excellent wear resistance and anti-fogging properties over a long period of time, by blending a condensate of a hydrolyzate of a specified organosilicon compd. with an aliph. or arom. polycarboxylic acid (anhydride), polyethylene glycol, an alkylbetaine and a curing agent. CONSTITUTION:An organosilicon compd. having a non-hydrolyzable org. group having an epoxy group and at least two hydrolyzable groups (e.g., beta- glycidoxyethyltrimethoxysilane) is hydrolyzed in the presence of 0.5-1mol (based on the amount of the hydrolyzable group) of water or a dilute aq. soln. of 0.1-0.001 N hydrochloric acid at a room temp. to obtain a condensate (A) of a hydrolyzate. 100pts.wt. component A is blended with 0.1-1 equivalent (in terms of an acid; based on the amount of epoxy group in the component A) of an aliph. or arom. polycarboxylic acid (anhydride) (B) [e.g., maleic acid (anhydride)], 5-50pts.wt. polyethylene glycol (C) having an MW of 2,000-40,000, 4-40pts.wt. 12-18C alkylbetaine (D) and 0.5-5pts.wt. curing agent (E) such as dicyandiamide, aluminum isobutoxide, imidazole, etc.
