PURPOSE:The titled composition which is effective for preventing tooth decay, releases a drug in the oral cavity after polymerization and keeps release of drug for a long period, obtained by blending a poly(meth)acrylic acid ester monomer with a polymerization initiator and a drug in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. poly(meth)acrylic acid ester monomer is blended with 0.01-5pts.wt. polymerization initiator, 0.05-25pts.wt. agent (e.g. oral cavity drug, germicide, enzymatic preparation or fluorine preparation) and preferably a filler and the drug is released in the oral cavity after polymerization. 2,2- Bis[4-(3-methacryloxy-2-hydroxypropoxy)-phenyl]propane, etc., may be cited as the poly(meth)acrylic acid ester and dibenzoyl peroxide as the polymerization initiator. The blending ratio of the filler is preferably 35-800pts.wt.
