PURPOSE:To provide joints with adhesion preventing effects as those of copper plate and to prevent organisms in water from attaching themselves to the joints, by applying thin copper plates to shells of ships and other structures used in sea water and fresh water and coating the joints of the shells with copper powder-containing adhesive. CONSTITUTION:For example, the outside of a shell 3 of ship is coated with an adhesive 4 for bonding a copper plate 1 and the copper plate is bonded to the outer plate 1. An adhesive 4 is piled on a joint 2 between the copper plate 1 and a copper plate 1'. The adhesive is topcoated with a copper fine powder-containing adhesive 6. Consequently, a copper film face is formed on the joint which is brought into contact with sea water, the film face has the same action as that of copper and has effects on prevention of adhesion of marine organism. The adhesive 4 is laid between the adhesive 6 and the shell 3 and the adhesive 4 has electrical insulating effects. |
