PURPOSE:To mix accurately a liquid to be diluted and a diluent automatically when the quantity of liquid in a diluting tank, by providing the diluting tank with a detecting means which detects the lowest liquid level in the diluting tank and operating a switching value with this detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A cutting liquid in a diluting tank 4 is used; and when the liquid level falls to the lowest liquid level L1, the first detecting means D1 detects the fall of the liquid level, and power is supplied to a cutting liquid lack warning circuit to open the first switching valve 5 and the second switching valve 7 simultaneously. Then, the city water jetted from the upward end part of a water pipe 6 and the undiluted solution of the cutting liquid as a liquid to be diluted supplied from a duct 8 are mixed to fill up the diluting tank 4. On the other hand, the third switching valve 12 is closed to prevent the undiluted solution in an undiluted solution tank 14 from entering into the tank 4 through a measuring chamber 9. When the tank 4 is filled up with the cutting liquid and the liquid level of the cutting liquid reaches the highest liquid level L2, the means D1 stops the power supply to the cutting liquid lack warning circuit to stop the supply of the undiluted solution and the city water. Thus, the liquid to be diluted and the diluent are automatically mixed at a certain ratio accurately when the quantity of liquid in the tank 4 is reduced.
