PURPOSE:To improve the productivity by arranging plural nozzles for spraying a slurry close to one another so that the conical regions formed by the droplets sprayed from the nozzles are overlapped on one another, and controlling the generation of coarse particles. CONSTITUTION:The conical region is formed by the droplets sprayed from the nozzle, and the droplets move in follow-up to a drying or cooling gas current. The conical regions are overlapped on one another, and plural nozzles are provided so that other nozzles are not present in the respective conical regions. The interval (l) between nozzles is preferably controlled to <=50cm. The generation of coarse particles is thus controlled, probably because the momentum of the droplet is high in the conical region and the droplets are splashed without being joined by collision. Since the nozzles can be arranged close to each other at the central part of a tower, the generation of coarse particles due to the deposition on the tower wall can be controlled, the number of nozzles can be increased, and the production can be increased.
