PURPOSE:To grasp the using quantity of a device in accordance with the size of the form and to simplify a constitution by executing the counting in accordance with the ratio at a prescribed period and in the period by a counting means when the ratio of the output of a form detecting means and the form of a reference size is not an integer. CONSTITUTION:To the CPU 1 of the counter device of an electrophotographic copying machine, a ROM 2, RAM 3 and EE-PROM 4 are connected, and at the RAM 3 and PROM 4, the function capable of executing the electrical deleting and writing is held. By the program counter PC of the CPU 1 and an arithmetic logic unit ALU, the detecting of a form size and the counting of the number of the sheet of a print are executed. By the CPU 1, the RAM 3 and the PROM 4, the ratio of the size of a reference form size and the detecting output is obtained. When the ratio is not the integer, the counting in accordance with the ratio at the prescribed period and in the period is executed by the counter device. |
