PURPOSE:To enable measurement of the ion species in a liquid to be measured simultaneously with pH, etc., by providing a physical quantity detector on the downstream of a sample drawing valve which draws a prescribed amt. of the liquid to be measured and detecting the physical quantities of the liquid to be measured. CONSTITUTION:The eluate in a tank 1b flows through a pomp 2b-sepn. column 4- detector 6 to a waste liquid tank 1e when a liquid feed pump 2b is driven. The removal liquid in the tank 1c flows in the flow passage of the pump 2c-waste liquid tank 1f and makes an ion exchange with, for example, the cation existing in the liquid in an inside chamber 5b of a background remover 5 when a liquid feed pump 2c is driven. The liquid to be measured in the tank 1a flows in the flow passage of the pump 2a-measuring pipe 3g-detector 8-waste liquid tank 1d and the pH of the liquid to be measured is detected by the detector 8 when a liquid feed pump 2a is driven. The liquid to be measured in the pipe 3g arrives at the column 4 and, for example, the anion species is separated when the sample drawing valve 3 is turned on. The eluate of the column 4 is decreased in electric conductivity by the ion exchange and is conducted to the detector 6, by which the electric conductivity is detected and the ion species of the liquid to be measured is analyzed. |
